Best Shoes For Travel (That Are Waterproof!)

One thing I have learned after traveling through all different types of climates, atmospheres and whereabouts is that what I have on my feet makes all the difference. I have learned my mistake many, many times that heels and strappy sandals are not always your best friend with a lot of exploring!

Thankfully, I was introduced Vessi, a proudly Canadian company, who offers multiple styles of 100% waterproof shoes. I have since collaborated with Vessi to check out what their brand has in store!

I believe that it is always important to know the facts behind the brands that you are buying, and Vessi crosses off many boxes on my list! For starters, they are vegan and cruelty-free.... This is always a huge plus for me. Not to mention being environmentally-friendly in general by using 99% of knit material during production.

Vessi: Full Review

I got to try out three different types of Vessis, and I can honestly say that I love how they have made traveling so much more comfortable, convenient, and of course - stylish! Here is what I purchased and my thoughts about each one:

Weekend Chelsea

If you prefer more of a high-top or boot fit, then I would highly recommend these! This pair has become one of my closet staples in the colder months, keeping my ankles just as warm as my feet! I also love the thick material, which eliminated any leaks into my shoes while getting in some winter hiking. And although thick, they make me feel as light as a feather!

Everyday Move The name of this style has basically said it all - these have become my every day sneaker. I love to wear these out while running errands, casual occasions or to work out in at the gym. At first, I was nervous about getting a lighter color (as I do with just about any piece of clothing and my clumsiness,) however, I've hardly got a scratch on mine after many uses indoor and out - They are definitely not the type to get dirty easily!

Sunday Slippers

The Sunday Slippers have become another great casual pair in my closet, but have also served me well when dressing up a little bit more. First off, I have to mention how SOFT these shoes are! Made with vegan Dyma-Wool, It's almost like stroking a warm blanket when putting my shoes on. Even if I'm just taking care of some chores around the house, they feel great to slip on like any house slipper would.

Bonus: They have socks, too!

I don't think there is anything I dislike more than walking around in soggy socks and shoes. Thankfully, when pairing my Vessi crew socks with whichever pair of shoes I'm feelin' for the day, I get an extra layer of comfort while out and about.

I genuinely have come to love my Vessis. They have made traveling so much easier and more convenient. I now no longer have to worry about dirtying up shoes or having to settle with an ugly pair to deal with rain, when I have plenty of options that are also stylish.

Fashionable + practical shoes = easy packing for me on my next trip. :)
